The Dannevirke Spring Festival celebrates much that
Dannevirke has to offer, it's a community
arts festival than encompasses all art forms that come together during the
month of October.
Annual Book Sale:
Host Lions Book Sale will take place at Dannevirke Town Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 30,31 July & 1 August.

Hi again.. here is the latest update for the Dannevirke Shearing Shrek John Project.
The end result of which can only be described as "Amazing"
For all those interested or who took part please note, there will be a photo opportunity and presentation of cheque to the Dannevirke Cancer Support Group at 2.00pm on Tuesday 13 April - meet outside Regent Cafe in High Street, Dannevirke.
By Monday the 12th of April 2010 donations will reach $18,000!!
The result is truly AMAZING so once again a great big thank you to all concerned.
The Shearing Shrek John Appeal Project: Aims to support Dannevirke children with cancer and their families.
All sponsorship goes to the Dannevirke Cancer Support Group who will distribute the money to support children with cancer related illnesses and their families in Dannevirke and District

Well known identity, especially in farming circles, John Walshe has thrown down a challenge to anyone wanting to join him on his campaign to raise funds for child cancer patients in the Dannevirke district.

Examples of relevant items are - used oils, car batteries, old paint and solvents, weed killers, garden chemicals, sprays, household cleaners, liquid and dry chemicals, please leave substances in their original containers for identification purposes.
